What you'll do

 

  • Authoring task: you will receive training in our authoring tools and writing guidelines, to be able to help our authors to make updates to user interface texts, online help and product guides. Your responsibilities will include writing content in English and designing interactive images.
  • Video production. You will receive a training on our multimedia tool to be able to support authors to create video tutorials in collaboration with Product Managers and Developers. You will participate in script writing, screen recording, and video editing so that it matches our video guidelines.
  • Operational tasks in the content management tool: you will receive knowledge transfer and training in our authoring tool to help with housekeeping tasks and cleanup work required to help authors focus on their content work.

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences.
  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken). German is a plus.
  • Keen interest in new technologies (knowledge of HTML, XML or JavaScript is an advantage).
  • Ability to analyze the learning needs of diverse user groups.
  • Visual/graphics skills (knowledge of Camtasia studio and PowerPoint is a plus).
  • Team player with good communication skills as our team is divided into different locations.
  • Proactive in looking for new tasks or new trainings.

 

Meet your team

 

 At SAP, User Assistance teams are responsible for designing and developing all types of information that help our customers to deploy, administer, use, and develop software successfully. Our User Assistance team provides user assistance assets for SAP Datasphere application. We specialize in user interface texts, embedded help, multi-media, and documentation targeted at a diverse range of customers -- from business users and analysts to IT administrators and developers.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
