Position title: SAP iXp Intern – LX DevOps Engineer

Location: São Leopoldo, RS

As an intern in LX Language Technology, you will have a variety of responsibilities that focus on helping to administer and support language technology tools and infrastructure. Here are the key areas you will be involved in:

• Technological Support and Consulting
  • Assist in providing technological support and consulting for language technology tools, systems, and the overall landscape.
  • Your primary focus will be to help ensure continuous connectivity, security, availability, performance, and general support of language-related tools and infrastructure.
• Incident Management
  • Participate in incident management processes by coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, minimize impact, and perform troubleshooting
• Documentation and Best Practices
  • Help document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices. This includes developing and maintaining dashboards, alerts, and monitors to detect potential issues and help improve system reliability
• Monitoring Technology Developments
  • Continuously monitor relevant technology developments to identify the latest trends, tools, and innovations that might influence or impact new and existing functionality.
• Have the opportunity to work with the following technologies:
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Jenkins
  • ArgoCD
  • Github Actions
  • Python
  • Shell Script
  • Dynatrace

What You’ll bring:

• Undergraduate students in IT/Computer Science or related areas (from the 2nd semester onwards or expected to graduate in approximately 24 months).
• Programming logic and programming skills are a plus.
• Advanced English skills.
• Strong teamwork skills, pro-active, and results-focused.
• Eagerness to always learn new tools and processes.
• Ability to understand and learn new technologies quickly based on documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, open-minded, resourceful, agile, and pragmatic.
• Enthusiastic to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

The Language Technology (LT) Team supports and operates various language technology components essential for the SAP translation infrastructure. The focus is on providing a first-class user experience for over 3000 users regarding translation tool support and connectivity in a secure working environment.

We are an innovative interdisciplinary team of highly motivated technology specialists and system engineers that work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are looking for a new colleague to learn about cloud infrastructure and our platform to further boost the technological competencies in our team.
