SAP’s Cloud Success Services’ organization delivers all sorts of services to support our customers in their digital transformation to become an intelligent enterprise. We sustain the adoption of SAP software and ensure that our customers can successfully plan, implement, integrate, and operate their software, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer. It is a global organization consisting of both central expertise teams and of local customer teams.

Within the services organization, the Business Transformation Services (BTS) team focuses on driving the digitalization agenda of our customers through advising, designing and supporting the implementation of solutions. Value generation, business process thinking and change management are in BTS’s DNA. 
  
We are looking for a new BTS colleague with the following qualities:

• In depth expertise of the retail industry and the specifics this industry brings to enterprise architecture 
• A genuine passion for driving client success and delivering business outcomes through technology by becoming the trusted advisor at C-level from a business and technology perspective
• A collaborative networker to build an external and internal network, who does not shy away from a complex matrix organization or challenging client engagements
• A curious mind to stays abreast with newest developments driving the digital transformation as well as the top business trends
• Expertise in process optimization, business case building, IT architecture and roadmap design. Defines the strategic, conceptual and organizational boundaries for the design of the SAP-centric IT landscape and having an eye for the change impact on the processes and people in the organization
• Sales savvyness: proactively finding opportunities, pitching on C-level and support sales trajectories. Influences SAP’s customers to maximize their investment into SAP solutions and effectively increasing cloud adoption
• A hands-on mentality to troubleshoots key customer issues when required and the ability to drive to successful resolution.

 
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Minimal Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
• Current knowledge of IT trends and their impact on retail strategies with specific focus on the latest SAP solutions
• Excellent (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills (in English;  Dutch is a plus)
• Leadership skills to create a vision and put this into action with a team

  
DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a balance of the following:

• At least 10-15 years of relevant retail architecture experience 
• Broad experience of SAP's portfolio and at least with depth for one line-of-business (e.g. procurement or manufacturing) and the SAP retail suite
• In depth understanding and implementation experience in the core Retail functionalities such as materials management and inventory management
• Development of business benefit cases for securing investment in major IT programs
• Project- or Program management

LOCATION

This role is based in the Netherlands and we will not consider applications which will require a relocation.
