What you will do 

You will get the opportunity to work with the most trending technologies that drive the next wave of enterprise integration applications end to end testing solutions with SAP Business Network teams in Lima. After an onboarding phase, you will work on exciting tasks. As part of central quality team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality related activities, with special focus on test related tasks within the product creation and maintenance process. 

We are looking for an Expert DevOps Engineer responsible for the integration code design, implementation and maintenance of modules or features of an application products. 

• Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test for hybrid applications platforms. 
• Design and implement Integration component and microservices and data migrations. 
• Create and execute complex manual and automated test cases. 
• Build innovative automation systems to facilitate integration, system and migration testing. 
• Build tools to generate customer like data in test systems. 
• Work with development, product, UX, Architects and test teams to build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class scalable applications on Kubernetes Cloud Hyperscalers. 
• Lead and guide multiple DevOps Engineers 
• Ability to define the testing DevLabs for various types of testing by applying tear down, data snapshots and autoscale applications. 
• Research new emerging tools and enhance existing automated test systems. 
• Represent the team and help manage the team's deliverables/commitments. 

What you bring 

• Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience working in a product engineering environment. 
• Experience in developing data-driven microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Test Designs, hands-on experience with docker containers and Kubernetes, familiar with one or more of the clouds providers. 
• Experience in leading technical DevOps Engineers 
• Excellent engineering skills – coding, debugging, designing, backend testing. 
• Excellent automation skills with Java, Unix, Jenkins, Selenium, Protractor or any commercial scalable tools  
• Hands on experience on Selenium WebDriver or JMeter 
• Experience handling complex deployment stacks. Exposure to public cloud. 
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate detailed technical analysis. 
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English and interpersonal skills. 
• Experience in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, DevOps tools. 
• Experience in Database concepts and hands on experience with SQL 
• Experience in testing SaaS (Software as a service) On-Demand enterprise application. 
• Technical knowledge about Cloud Platform offerings like SAP Business Technology Platform, Azure, AWS and GCP. 
• Technical knowledge about software development and integration platforms in an agile team setup 
• Development knowledge: Java, NodeJS, JavaScript, API Consumption, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, OData, HTML5 and others. 
• Integration Skills: JSON, Message Brokers, SOA, Ingress, Egress inbound and outbound, REST API’s, XML Transformation, Kafka and others. 

Nice to have  

• Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform or Procurement Supply Chain domains 
• Experience in BTP (Business Technology Platform) Kubernetes 
• Applying AI for repeatable configuration management deployment for dev and production namespaces
