What you’ll do 

You will get the opportunity to work with the most trending technologies that drive the next wave of enterprise integration applications end to end testing solutions with SAP Business Network teams in Lima. After an onboarding phase, you will work on exciting tasks. As part of central quality team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality related activities, with special focus on test related tasks within the product creation and maintenance process. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead the process of moving applications from development to production and make sure our products run smoothly in production.  
• Design, implement, and manage DevOps capabilities using CI/CD toolsets and automation.  
• Analyze the existing infrastructure and provide expertise on containerization and migration to Kubernetes.  
• Work on Infrastructure-as-Code and ensure teams have the environments, deployment pipelines, and tools necessary to be efficient, e.g., automate processes for environment setup, deployments, monitoring and debugging, etc. 
• Identify and address security and performance issues. Maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. 
• Develop, maintain, and provide DevLabs support to engineers.  
• Manage Jenkins pipelines to meet complete end-to-end software releases from development to production releases deployments. 

What you bring 

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in cloud technologies, infrastructure as code and/or general automation techniques to join us in building the future of SAP Business Network Applications. 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in software development. 
• 5-7 years of work experience, preferably in DevOps Engineering. 
• Experience with cloud tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace. 
• Good technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations (DevOps), monitoring/management/deployment tools and processes.  
• Experience with at least one public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.  
• You are an excellent collaborator with good communication skills. 
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English and interpersonal skills. 
• Operating system fundamentals, Shell scripting, Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins scripting. 

Nice to have 

• Understanding of networking and storage within cloud Kubernetes environments 
• Experience with code scanning tools like Fortify, WhiteSource, SonarQube, and further integration into Jenkins pipelines. 
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence such as Foundation Models, Machine Learning, Generative AI in context of DevOps Engineering.
