What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Marketing Strategy
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Expected Start Date: June 2025
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Hours: 40 hours per week; Full-time
The SAP Spend Marketing Strategy team is looking for a dynamic, creative, and highly motivated individual with a marketing or operations background to join us as a Marketing Strategy Intern. In this position, you’ll play an instrumental role in supporting the marketing strategy function while gaining hands-on experience in marketing planning, cross-team alignment, and performance management.
The ideal candidate is a student or early-graduate with a background in Marketing or Business Management. You will use your strong organization, analytics, and communication skills to help manage complex projects and solve important business challenges.
This position requires a strategic thinker who takes a data-driven approach to decision making. Experience working in a matrixed organization is a plus.
Expectations & Tasks
- Work with the Leader of Marketing Strategy to manage the marketing planning processes
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to help understand the health of the business
- Support with project management for various key initiatives as needed by the business
- Help prepare agenda, secure speakers, and send follow up emails for standard rhythm of business calls
- Support with cross marketing communications to help keep teams informed on marketing strategy and planning updates

Education: Bachelor's degree program in 3rd or 4th year
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
- Experience in marketing, business management or operations with focus on using data to drive business decisions
- Strong project management experience and organizational skills including the ability to set and drive requirements across multiple functional areas
- Ability to communicate well at all levels of an organization via presentation, written, and spoken channels
- Comfort working across teams in a matrix environment
- Previous experience in a related role is preferred
- Availability to work full-time for 6 months

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 17-33SAP North America Benefits.
USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
