Job Title: Product Expert

Location: Atlanta, GA

 

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Product Expert at our Atlanta, GA location responsible for the success, quality, cost management and delivery of a product, product group or complex project in the whole product lifecycle as defined in the portfolio.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Monitor market tendencies and technology trends. Analyze technology trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities for SAP. Contribute to the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in own area. Contribute to business case, develop, and drive a product vision and roadmap. Evaluate competitive products on basis of publicly available information to ensure product is on-par or competitive in the current market. Ensure customer input into all product definitions. Own and prioritize product backlog. Drive holistic product vision and product design and ensure all product teams have a comprehensive understanding of it. Develop test cases and/or conduct expert testing and validate planned and implemented scope throughout product lifecycle and ensure delivery of high-quality software. Accept or reject sprint results on a Scrum of Scrum level. Ensure creation of product-related non-coded assets in close cooperation with central teams, e.g. Release Management, Production, and Governance. Collect & incorporate early feedback from Customers and other relevant stakeholders. Identify opportunities and drive innovation in respective topics and domains of the functional role.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Position requires five (5) years of experience involving each of the following:

  • Design and implement end-to-end business solutions across SAP IBP modules, including ERP, SAC, and BW;
  • Configure integration between multi-systems using SAP’s integration technology, including SDI, CIF, and CI-DS;
  • Develop and identify algorithms including statistical forecasting, supply planning heuristics, and optimization; and
  • Design, implement, and execute test plans including functional, process, system, and integration.

Position requires experience in each of the following:

  • Design and implement end-to-end business solutions across SAP APO Modules, ERP, SNC, CRM, BW, and Ariba;
  • Evaluate the planning process and provide proposals by mapping customer requirements with SAP Planning Solutions, including ERP, APO, and IBP; and
  • Develop content including configuration and modeling for SAP Planning Solutions.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $126,116 - $214,430. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $153,800 - $261,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
