What you’ll do

As a Full Stack Engineer/cloud developer in the Platform Architecture and Adoption unit as part of the “Office of the CTO”, the core responsibility of the Cloud developer will be to help build reference architectures and end-to-end use cases showcasing SAP Business Technology Platform’s integration, extensibility, AI and data management capabilities across SAP and non-SAP systems. You will be part of a global cross-functional engineering team that implements lighthouse strategic customer projects and delivers hands-on training for field engineers with the ultimate objective of increasing adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing client-side and server-side architecture-based applications.
  • Building end-to-end use cases leveraging SAP BTP and Hyperscaler services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Will be responsible for development of cloud applications in custom web applications/mobile applications and data & analytics related topics.
  • Develop end to end application development from user interface, database and services development in Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtime in SAP BTP.
  • Responsible for development focusing on coding, testing, quality assurance of software features.
  • Responsible for publishing blog posts and conduct external sessions on BTP reference architectures

 

 

What you bring

  • Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience - 4 to 7 years
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Node.js, Python, Angular/React.js.
  • Knowledge on cloud native development skills.
  • Knowledge of IAAS and PaaS services (SAP, AWS, Azure, GCP) and data storage (MongoDB, HANA, Hadoop, Neo4j) will be an advantage.
  • Solid foundations in Computer Science, with basic understandings in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and software design principles
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data analytics approaches
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Excellent team player, functional leader, collaborator, and a proactive can-do attitude

Technology & Innovation (T&I) is responsible for SAP’s overall platform and technology development, in short SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), THE foundation of the Intelligent Enterprise.

The Platform Adoption & Advisory (PAA) unit is a trusted technology advisor to our customers, partners and field engineering teams. We are a part of the ‘Office of the CTO’ and our mandate is to increase adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) by qualifying, implementing, and enabling end-to-end use cases to our internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a motivated graduates for Cloud developer in Bangalore to help expand our presence in the APJ. The core responsibility of the Cloud developer will be to help build technical enablement assets and use cases showcasing SAP Business Technology Platform’s integration, extensibility, and data management capabilities across SAP and non-SAP systems. These technical enablement assets will be used to train our customer-facing teams and partners so that they are able to solve complex engineering problems and increase platform adoption in the ecosystem.
