What you'll do:

In your role as a Developer, you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and quality assurance in a cloud native development team which infuses Business AI and reimagine business processes. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code, and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure success. In your day-to-day you will:

• Gen AI developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping SAP’s vision and future by working on building functions that provides natural language processing capabilities and integrates seamlessly with Concur core services.
• Build microservices as a part of Concur Core Tech Stack (Java) and extensions on BTP using CAP (Java).
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Take responsibility for assessing the quality of his/her feature areas. Build Automation around the product feature areas using test frameworks and tools like Junit, Selenium, JMeter
• Develop core features and enhancements for the Expense product.
• Contribute in code areas that need refactoring and architectural changes. Investigate product issues with in-depth analysis and customer impact and assist with prioritizing them.
• Work with project team to plan, prioritize, and schedule features, making appropriate compromises to ensure high quality and timely delivery of the features.
• Work with project team, remove obstacles when issues arise that may impact the project deliverables.
• Proactively coordinate status updates across disciplines and feature teams to enable better coordination between groups; clearly identified risks, dependencies, and other obstacles, and enable managers and others to take action to resolve issues.

What you bring:

Are you analytical, self-motivated, and enjoy problem solving? Are you skilled in time management and task prioritization? Do you enjoy continuous learning and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment? If this sounds like you, do you also bring:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with Master’s or Bachelor’s in computer science.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Min 5 years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, NodeJS or other object-oriented programming model.
• The candidate should have applied AI or GenAI or LLM/SLM in the previous experience.
• Experience in developing and deploying applications (across multiple versions) to a public cloud platform such as AWS. Proficiency with AWS, container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• BTP knowledge, CAP (Java) and Hana knowledge would be a differentiator. Basic understanding of agile development principles/practices and the roles/responsibilities of all agile team members
• Be Self-motivated with an innate sense of curiosity.
