SAP’s Customer Innovation Services (CIS) organization is at the forefront of delivering differentiated innovations that help our customers thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape. We are looking for a Communications & Engagement Expert to shape and execute our internal and external communication strategies, ensuring our teams, stakeholders, and customers are aligned, informed, and inspired. This role will drive storytelling, executive messaging, thought leadership, and community-building efforts that amplify CIS’s impact within SAP and beyond.

 

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Strategic Communications
    • Develop and implement a compelling communication strategy that reinforces CIS’s vision, objectives, and impact.

    • Craft executive messages, blog posts, newsletters, and leadership updates to keep internal and external stakeholders engaged.

    • Support key events, launches, and milestone moments with effective messaging and storytelling.

  • Employee Engagement & Culture

    • Build initiatives that foster a strong sense of belonging, collaboration, and purpose within CIS.

    • Design and execute engagement programs, leadership dialogues, and interactive forums to connect teams across locations.

    • Partner with HR and leadership on change communication strategies that drive adoption and alignment.

  • Thought Leadership & External Visibility
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Develop content that highlights CIS’s role in delivering custom innovations, driving customer success, and shaping SAP’s innovation agenda.
    • Work with external communications teams to position CIS experts in key industry conversations through blogs, podcasts, speaking engagements, and events.
    • Manage storytelling campaigns that showcase success stories and customer impact.
  • Stakeholder & Executive Communications
    • Act as a strategic advisor to CIS leadership, shaping their communication approach and messaging.

    • Ensure alignment with SAP’s broader communication and branding guidelines.

    • Collaborate closely with SAP’s global communications teams to integrate CIS’s narrative into enterprise-wide messaging.

What you bring:
 

  • A strategic communicator with 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate storytelling.
  • A strong writer and storyteller who can distill complex topics into compelling narratives.
  • Experienced in working with leadership teams and managing executive communications.
  • Passionate about technology, innovation, and customer success.
  • A creative thinker who can design engaging experiences that inspire employees and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
