SAP Build Process Automation(SBPA) combines Workflow Management , Robotic Process Automation, and embedded AI capabilities with an easy-to-use, no-code development experience. It empowers business users and developers to automate business processes simply and quickly without requiring IT support and coding. We are looking for qualified and committed employees who want to be involved in state-of-the-art software development and are eager to experience the abundant opportunities present in the organization.
What you’ll do:
As a DevOps Engineer you will contribute to the development of our product as part of a highly integrated and global team. You will support the global development team and the local team in Bangalore. SBPA is a hybrid product with both cloud and desktop components. You will focus on automating our build process and will constantly improve and optimize our CICD process both for cloud and desktop components. You will make release pipelines that must operate at any time, which makes it possible to build the solution, verify all security and compliance standards, pass non-regression tests, and deploy the solutions in the various planned landscapes. Developers and Quality engineers rely on DevOps to ensure releases are released on time using the CI/CD approach. You will support developers on work related to GitHub and Jenkin and collaborate with developers, QA & program management to prepare, plan and help generate the next release.
What you bring:
- 1 - 6 years with University Degree in Computer Science or related technical areas.
- Experience in building and maintaining Hyperspace pipelines.
- Experienced in GitHub and Jenkins
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and patterns
- Knowledge about BTP.
- Familiarity with Cloud Foundry and in using cloud platforms as Infrastructure (IaaS) - AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Familiarity with containers - Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Software development experience of JavaScript, Node.js, Groovy is good to have.
- Familiarity with C++ and/or C# and Visual Studio would be good to have.
- Fluency in English language – verbal and written.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and good team player
