What you'll do
In your role as a Developer, you will be responsible for the functional area that you are assigned to. You will assess and solve issues in new and existing code, work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure success. In your day-to-day, you will:
- Self-motivated and curios to learn with minimum handholding and gain techno-functional expert in the specified area.
- Preparedness to take up remote knowledge transfer sessions from our global development teams
- Provide high-quality solutions to complex problem faced by SAP customers
- Preparedness to take up incremental development activities
- Resolve customer reported issues in a timely manner
- Take ownership of work and operate in a globally distributed organization
- Proactiveness to take up additional/new topics
- Articulate technical and functional information clearly for customers and within our organization
- Prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs with estimated efforts and drive topics to completion
- Innovation mindset, continuous improvement and optimization of support activities.
- Ramp-up on AI and Gen-AI to be prepared for upcoming use cases in our road-map
What you bring
Are you analytical, self-motivated, and enjoy problem solving? Are you skilled in time management and task prioritization? Do you enjoy continuous learning and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment?
If this sounds like you, do you also bring:
- Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
- Total 6-9 years of development/development support experience.
- Proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented design.
- Good knowledge of the ABAP, OOABAP, Data Dictionary, Function Module, OData & CDS.
- Hands on RESTful ABAP required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Working functional and process knowledge of Financials (Preferable).
- Experience of working on S/4HANA releases of FI module (Preferable).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
