Summary

We as Core Finance IT Solutions team consult, implement & operate IT solutions to make people more productive and help SAP run at its best. The product teams aims to provide highly automated and integrated solutions for our internal customer The Finance board area, thereby helping SAP to focus on financial goals and by securing compliance with legal and other requirements.

What you'll do

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a robust architecture background to join our Core Finance Unit. If you're passionate about creating innovative financial software solutions in the cloud, powered by AI, we invite you to be part of our journey. As a Software Engineer/Architect, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our cloud-based Finance solutions with a focus on architecture and AI integration. Join us in creating scalable, robust software to meet evolving business needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based architectural designs, incorporating AI solutions
•    Design and implement scalable software solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability in the cloud environment with an AI-driven approach
•    Drive cloud-based system architecture efforts, aligning with industry best practices and integrating AI technologies
•    Conduct regular code reviews, maintaining code quality, and mentoring team members in engineering and architecture practices
•    Continuously expand your capabilities in terms of training your skills, growing your knowledge & improving your professional behaviors
•    Always give your best to act according to SAP’s How We Run and Lead behaviors

 What you bring
 
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
•    5+ to 15 years of professional experience in an IT, Development, or Consulting environment as consultant and/or developer preferably full stack, ABAP 
•    Experience with agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban) or at least strong curiosity, Test-driven development mindset and Experience with Programming skills in SAP environment (e.g. RAP-Restful ABAP Programming, CAP-Cloud Application Programming)
•    Good understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices in SAP environment and knowledge of integration patterns and technologies within the SAP ecosystem and with     SAP security frameworks and protocols
•    Knowledge about ABAP/ABAP OO or other object-orientated programming language
•    Knowledge in HANA, CDS (Core Data Services), SQL, SAP ODATA and Web based development skills like SAPUI5, Fiori, Java Script are a plus
•    Strong interest into SAP Build, SAP Business AI and Cloud capabilities is much appreciated
•    Solid understanding of SAP Finance solutions and business processes as a plus
•    Fluent in English language
