What you’ll do

One of SAP’s strategic customers has conducted a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as an enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest SAP HANA-based systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption as the customer is at the start of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program.

As IT Architecture Specialist, you'll support the architecture team to deliver in the following areas:
•    software lifecycle release management and planning
•    consult with the customer assisting them in articulating their outcome-based requirements.
•    collaborate with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions that would be suitable for deployment.
•    where required, innovate (architect, design, build a customer-specific solution)
As part of the architecture team, you would also be a topic contributor for specific parts of the technology stack.

What you bring

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management
•    Expert level BASIS, HANA, SUSE knowledge (preferably including Pacemaker), 2-3 years experience minimum.
•    Good knowledge of hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes, preferred 1 year’ experience minimum.
•    Ability to understand technical challenges, analyze them, and identify solutions.
•    Good presentation and documentation skills
•    Desire to transition career to SAP technical architect.
