Summary 

One of SAPs largest customers has setup a transformation program called Journey to Cloud (J2C). A cornerstone of this transformation is to consume the entire SAP landscape as SaaS provided by SAP. Our Client Delivery Management team will provide an E2E service and will work dedicated for this customer, operating his entire SAP landscape with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems (e.g. 2x24TB ERP scale-out).  

Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, HEC Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers and by joining forces with CAS, we enter a new era of end-to-end service experience for our customers 

Within the Technical Service Management (TSM) organization which is responsible to provide E2E operation services for the customer, we have a team of Technical Landscape Owners for which we’re looking for the Head of TLO. In your new role you will be responsible to establish and optimize the framework for all TLOs to become and remain successful and efficient in their role. You will work on the definition and optimization of all processes and be in constant alignment with all involved stakeholders in and outside the ECS Nestle organization to ensure the team is running effectively and delivers in quality.

THE ROLE

  • Control and drive all planning aspects for TLO assignments and deliverables
  • Develop and implement the strategy to scale for TLOs, considering changing requirements and demand  
  • Process guidance – figure out best ways to ensure TLOs can focus on technical aspects and work proactively for their components
  • Optimize the working relationship with all stakeholders in the process
  • Support TLOs individually in their work (find contacts, remove obstacles)

ROLE REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Mathematics or comparable
  • Background in SAP technology and products, migration and operation concepts of large and complex environments
  • Knowledge of the whole technology stack (Application, Database, Server management)
  • Technical Expertise in SAP Installations and Upgrades in multi-regional environments
  • Ability to own and coordinate customer escalations & process improvements
  • Be a role model and inspire and energize your team with a clear direction, including strong technical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience as manager of a team on Senior/Expert Level
  • 10+ years of experience as SAP Basis consultant / System Admin or in a similar role
