Summary:
We are looking for an accomplished Technology Associate who is eager to deliver consistent and high-quality results to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. You will contribute to SAP's strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise.
The Role: The Technical Service Managers play a critical part in helping our customers accelerate their cloud transformation journey and enable them to achieve the business values and outcomes they want from their SAP landscape. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of SAP BASIS, computer infrastructure, and a passion for customer-facing communication.
What you’ll do
As Technical Services Associate you will be guiding clients through their exciting transition to cloud-based solutions. Your tasks will include assessing clients' operational needs, detecting possible complications that could emerge during their shift to the cloud, and aligning those needs with solutions. Together with our partners, you will build tailored solutions fitting the customers' needs. This role will give you the gratification of resolving complex problems and offering meaningful business value.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Understand the customer's business, objectives, and difficulties to offer suitable solutions and services.
- Identify and suggest SAP Enterprise Cloud Services that offer genuine advantages to the customer.
- Recognize problems and assist in creating and implementing action plans across customer’s operations.
- Design the optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
- Promote technological advancement and innovation and serve as the point of contact for resolving technical problems.
What you bring
- University degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Quick learning skills to understand the SAP S/4HANA architectures and Rise migration paths/tools.
- Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in customer communications and presentations
- Understanding of the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
- Exposure to SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
Good To Have skills:
- Understanding of SAP Basis Administration abilities.
- Hyperscalers basic knowledge (AWS, MS Azure or GCP).
- Understanding of ITIL Processes and their application.
- Experience or certifications with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP) are an advantage.
- Cloud security including Cyber Security, Encryption, and key management knowledge is preferred.
- SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills would be very helpful but not mandatory.
- Exposure to SAP Basis administrative duties are an advantage.
- Previous customer-facing technical consulting or support experience.
- Foundational understanding of information system solution design, architecture, and implementation.
- SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migration, SAP HANA, TOGAF certifications are plus.
