What You'll Do:

As a Developer, you will:

• Develop microservices using SpringBoot on SAP BTP CloudFoundry to interact with various hyperscalers. (AWS, GCP, Converged Cloud - OpenStack)
• Provision infrastructure and initiate configuration management of provisioned infrastructure using Chef and Ansible.
• Build scalable applications using event-driven architecture.
• Develop and deploy modern Single Page applications using SAPUI5 tooling and deployment strategies on CloudFoundry.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality.
• Design and implement reusable components using multiple technologies.

Role Requirements:

• Extensive programming experience in Java and SpringBoot using JDK 11 and 17
• Ability to design and implement frontend applications using SAPUI5 and Web components.
• Demonstrate learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks, concepts, and technologies.

What You Bring:

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech or MCA degree.
• Strong programming skills in Java and SpringBoot.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as Node.js, React, and NextJS – an advantage.
• Familiarity with scripting using Python and building CLI applications using Go – an advantage.
• Experience with cloud provider (AWS, GCP) APIs – an advantage.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) – an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience in agile development using Scrum methodologies.
• Strong collaboration skills to ensure high customer satisfaction and work effectively in cross-cultural teams across geographies.

Meet your team 

GLDS (Global Labs Development and support) is team under PSO (Platform & System Operations) within GCID (Global Cloud infrastructure delivery). We serve SAP internal development teams, providing end-to-end (OS, DB, BASIS) standard and premium support for development system including mission-critical Landscapes. In addition the team provides Devops / automation services and tools development for internal development use.
