What you’ll do

As a Product Management Expert for Production Engineering and Operations (PEO) in S/4HANA Private Cloud ERP, you will contribute to define and drive the product vision and roadmap by deeply understanding customer challenges and creating innovative, outcome-driven solutions that deliver value, differentiate from competition, and drive business growth. As the solution is built on the foundation of ERP core and integrates with several area like Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Project Systems (PS), Digital Manufacturing and more, you will be required to align with cross-functional teams to ensure products delight customers and serve strategic goals of SAP. In addition, you will be responsible for evangelizing PEO across multiple internal and external channels.

Task and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-Depth discovery to understand Customer problems, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Address stakeholder needs by crafting solutions that maximize customer value while achieving business goals of SAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are optimized for growth, aligned with customer needs, uniquely differentiated, and effectively positioned for Go-To-Market success.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to communicate the product vision, its customer value, and future impact to customers, partners, and analysts.
• Support strategic customers, engage with communities, and drive engagement initiatives.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or other related fields
• Exposure to business processes and customers in discrete manufacturing industries such as Aerospace & Defence (A&D) and Industrial Machinery & Construction (IM&C)
• Subject matter expertise with deep knowledge in the Production planning (PP) and manufacturing operations (MES). Deep knowledge in product lifecycle management (PLM), engineering change management is highly appreciated.
• Good general knowledge of ERP or S/4HANA
• Successful execution of projects with customer exposure
• Practical experience in product management or consulting and good knowledge of software development and requirements management, cloud software experience is a plus
• Strong communication, presentation and networking skills
• Fluent in English
• Work Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in discrete industries, project teams and proven track record in product management, consulting, solution management

The Product Management in the Private Cloud ERP is responsible for the inbound and outbound product management of the Production Planning portfolio. Our current priority is to accelerate the development and market adoption of the S/4 HANA Private Cloud products.

We do always have a strong focus on end-to-end scenarios in which our applications are embedded. In addition, we are passionate about enhancing our industry portfolio to support the latest trends and adopt the newest technologies.
