The Organization

ASC (Adoption Services Center) is the global consulting unit of SAP; it resides within the Customer Success and Delivery Board area whose mission is to ensure that our customers adopt SAP "innovation” (both in terms of ‘solutions’ and well as ‘approaches and methodologies’). In particular, for ASC this translates (among other things) into helping SAP deliver projects with the right methodology and tools, with adherence to standard and Customer clean core principles and with solid outcomes which provide business value to our customers. Whilst ASC is organized mainly in terms of Solution Areas (where all the functional expertise of a specific solution resides) we have recently set up a cross solution area Delivery Management function which will  provide governance to help secure a high level of delivery excellence for our unit.

What are we looking for

As part of this Delivery Management function we are looking for Project Managers who will operate along the following lines:

  1. Oversee the execution of complex, large-scale projects and programs where ASC takes increased accountability (shared or exclusively) towards the Regions
  2. Be part of a team which will set up delivery excellence standards for ASC (following both gereric delivery methodology standards as well as SAP specific standards related to clean core and overall innovation adoption) and will monitor the adherence to these standards by the organization
  3. Proactively engage in ASC-led projects in a Quality Assurance role regarding tools and methodologies adherence
  4. Engage to de-escalate or re-focus high profile project engagements with delivery challenges
  5. Take up (on demand, if and when required) Regional Projects (with or without a significant ASC involvement)
  6. Lead on demand programs and initiatives related to delivery excellence across ASC
