WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take responsibility for the delivery of a rock solid foundation for all SAP internal applications
• Drive Runtime operations for all BTP enviroments
• Evaluate new cloud and platform technologies to contribute to the development of end-to-end reference architecture. 
• Foster a culture of clear communication and documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team. 
• Proactively address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain a high level of system reliability. 
• Work closely with internal and external teams to transfer knowledge and ensure a smooth transition of operational responsibilities. 
• Collaborate with the team to enforce security measures and implement automation to enhance overall operational efficiency. 
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Extensive experience in cloud landscape operations and governance, preferably with SAP BTP. 
• Strong background in automation, cloud operations and cloud security 
• Experience in the field of software development, preferably with JavaScript (nodeJS) or Java
• ITIL 4 Certification (Intermediate/Expert/Master)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus 
• Experience as a Site reliability engineer is a plus
• Excellent communication in English, verbal and written skills with the ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation 
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Proven ability to evaluate and implement recent technologies to drive innovation. 
• Goal-oriented and self-organized work style and the strive for excellence. 

MEET YOUR TEAM

• The mission of the Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) is to provide enablement and guidance in technical architectural topics for all SAP IT development teams. 
• We provide a stable foundation of the platforms for all SAP IT teams; this includes the Governance and Operations of all SAP BTP environments (Neo, Cloud Foundry, ABAP, Kyma) as well as central tools, strategic services, and applications. 
• We evaluate new Cloud and platform technologies to build end-to-end reference architectures for cloud extensions, using cutting edge technologies and defining SAP’s internal Cloud strategy. 
• We have extensive technical knowledge and consult, design, develop and deploy applications with and for our development units. 
• Additionally, we foster a strong collaboration with all SAP Standard Product teams and share our learnings with both, standard development inside SAP, and customers outside SAP. 
• Our team consists of highly skilled experts from all age groups, that besides work enjoy social gatherings in- and outside the office.
