Summary
 
We are seeking Senior DevOps Engineers to design, deploy and Manage the Regional DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address management) infrastructure. Ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge and experience in IT organization and support process, IT Governance Framework, and Merger acqusition strategies with a focus on IT.

As part of a pool of shared resources, ability to juggle competing demands are key to success here.  The key service areas in our 24x7 high availability, high change throughput context are


•    Project Engineering: As a member of the Engineering Team, responsible for the design and implemention.
•    Incident management – managing the next level of incident escalation beyond the help desk, and prior to support from the dedicated stack engineers.
•    Change management – Supporting the transition from manual to automated execution wherever possible, and supporting change planning and manual execution where necessary. 
•    Problem management – Root Cause investigation from a technology point of view, and the execution of corrective and preventative measures that arise from RCAs. 
 
What you'll do
 
•    Praticipate in project planning, Design and Change implementation of the nameserver scenario, including automating DNS requests through well-defined APIs for cloud, IOT, IPv4/IPv6, and other technologies.
•    Oversee domain-master, host-master and net-master roles.
•    Manage registration, operations and design for SAP’s Public IPv4/IPv6 networks, internal domains, hostnames, Autonomous Systems. 
•    Provide consulting to internal teams regarding domain name registration, transfer and DNS setup including aspects related to marketing, legal, branding and security.
•    Setup a first level support for corporate internal DNS.
•    Setup automated process and self-services scenarios 24X7 hour on-call

 
Key Performance Measures
 
•    Projects are delivered in line with project quality standards.
•    Ticket SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
•    Escalation procedures, policies and working practices are adhered to All records relating to Service Requests, Incidents, Change, Problems and Knowledge Management are completed accurately and within defined SLAs
 
What you bring 
 
•    Experience with DDI Solutions, with a strong preference for Bluecat, Inflobox or alternative technologies. 
•    In-depth knowledge of Network Protocols (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address management), TCP/IP, Internet and Routing.
•    Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IPAM products in large-scale enterprise envirnoments. 
•    Proficiency in scripting and automation tools relevant to DNS and network management. 
•    Expertise in Linux and Windows Enviroments. 
•    Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodology. 
•    Knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes is a Plus
•    A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
•    Good analytical, problem-solving skills and s
trong verbal and written communication skills:

•    Command of the English language is required
•    Dedication to the concept of Continuous improvement. 

Willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, 8x5 on weekdays and 24h weekends and holidays
