PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 
The Industry Innovation Services Solution advisor is a regional sales role responsible for driving growth in the cloud through Innovation portfolio with particular focus on BTP, industry cloud and co-innovation engagements in APJ. He/She is responsible for implementing the (co)-Innovation Strategy in APJ to deliver successful growth in cloud and innovation outcomes for our customers and partners. In alignment with Global Services Strategy in empowering Market Units to run the entire Services portfolio, the primary focus of the regional ISS SSA is to successfully manage the incubation of SAP platform technologies – such as Business Technology Platform (BTP), Industry Cloud and S4 Private Cloud Edition - enabling our customers to faster move into cloud while increasing adoption across all cloud LoBs. He/she will liaise with Regional and Market Unit teams (Services, License Sales, Cloud LoBs, Industry & Innovation teams) to align on SAP joint GTM for Innovations in APJ. This role will report into the Regional Head of Innovation & Cloud Services in APJ. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS 

  • Successful implementation of SAP innovation GTM strategy which is centered at rapid growth in cloud through BTP adoption in the market and across all geographies/industries in APJ 

  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to drive synergies for faster BTP adoption in APJ 

  • Act as an ambassador for innovation in internal and external events, partner and customer interactions 

  • Strong sales professional who can articulate the bigger picture of SAP Cloud strategy and the value of SAP BTP in business context 

  • Customer first mindset and experience in delivering business outcome to our customers 

  • Create trusted relationships with strategic customers and partners 

  • Solid understanding of co-innovation engagements and SAP cutting-edge technologies – e.g. BTP - and trends with the ability to cover those topics in public events and customer conversations 

  • Ensure transparency and predictability of the business on all levels. Maintain highest standards of business integrity and compliance 

  • Ensure tracking and realization of the financial targets (bookings, revenue) and other strategic KPIs  

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES  

The ideal candidate would have over 10 years of relevant and current experience with SAP services business – preferably in the area of business development and sales of (co)-innovations built on BTP 

  • Experience in platform services/sales – e.g. BTP, CX commerce - and across multiple Industries is required 

  • Passion for technology and applied innovation to address customer business problems 

  • Proven ability to drive successful engagements within the area of responsibility, proficiency in aligning cross-topic objectives and approaches within a matrixed organization 

  • Experience in Pipeline- and Opportunity Management 

  • Solutioning and tactical selling through development of right solution to the right customer with the right outcome 

  • Understanding of key SAP cloud solutions and respective industry business processes 

  • Experience in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex engagements 

  • Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills 

  • C-Level Communication and Presentation  

  • Results-driven and high-energy, yet focused and disciplined
