Technology Consultant - SAP Ariba

Summary: (Meet your team)

As members of the SAP Ariba Consulting organization, we are involved in transforming businesses through the implementation and use of the leading Cloud procurement solutions of SAP Ariba. We apply a strong understanding of business and procurement processes, as well as solid solution expertise, to deliver high quality projects and support our customers in the successful adoption of our solutions.

Core to the Technical implementation skill-set are strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, an ability to deal with changing environments and to operate independently, in order to provide the client with world-class service on a consistent basis. We do have a proven track record of delivering high quality results in a professional environment. High energy and motivation combined with an appetite for learning.

We are responsible for achieving sound, high quality deliverables on time and within budget. We  work on various aspects of the implementation process including requirements gathering, business process design, solution configuration and customization, solution integration, solution testing, client relationship building, issue tracking and reporting.

Role: (What you’ll do)

AMS (Application Management Specialist):

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assessing technical and functional issues and developing system solutions for the deployment and the ongoing support of Ariba cloud products and solutions.  This may include support of the customer throughout the life cycle of the customer engagement.

Core Tasks may include

• Providing expert functional and technical assistance, addressing maintenance, troubleshooting, and customization requests across Ariba cloud solutions
• Assessing customer systems and assist in system configuration
• Designing custom solutions for integrating Ariba with multiple customer ERP systems 
• Planning and managing multiple customer projects and handling customer expectations effectively and efficiently
• Defining detailed blueprint for development requirements  
• Being an advisor to customers throughout the engagement
• Leading resolution of escalations
• Supporting system optimization and performance
• Taking project manager responsibility as required across one or more customer engagements

Role Requirements: (What you bring)

Qualifications:

·         At least five years professional experience thereof two years as a consultant

·         Expert in at least one topic of SAP Ariba technology and good knowledge in at least one more

·         Experience with SAP ERP (ECC or S4/HANA) and related technologies

·         Technical planning and deployment over the full project cycle

·         Has experience supporting customer production environments and resolving production tickets

·         Has experience with multiple deployments

·         Plans and reviews concepts and detailed blueprints of IT projects

·         Consulting experience on Ariba Cloud solutions

·         Able to successfully handle an escalation project
