Job Title: Senior User Assistance Developer

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

In S/4HANA we are combining a modern and simplified Enterprise Management developed on SAP HANA with SAP Business Solutions (Ariba, Fieldglass, etc.) and Business Networks.
In the area “Products and Innovation – Procurement” we are developing Software Solutions, which are supporting procurement processes in a highly innovative way with an amazing user experience in the cloud. Together with SAP Ariba, including the world’s largest business network, we are offering one Procurement Solution across all spend categories.

To strengthen further our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, UA Developer with customer focus. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  1. Planning, researching, and creating user assistance products which include documentation such as context-sensitive help, user guides, Application Help, In-app help.
  2. Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders, such as subject-matter experts, user experience (UX), development, validation, and product support, as applicable.
  3. Actively collaborate and communicate with external stakeholders such as customers and partners to develop and review UA deliverables through, for example, customer engagement activities, social media, usability tests, and feedback channels.
  4. Follows and applies relevant industry and technology trends for user assistance, as applicable, at SAP.
  5. Editing user interface texts to ensure usability and that the texts conform to SAP’s standards
  6. Researching and defining terminology
  7. Convey technical information in a clear and precise manner.
  8. Strong communication skills.
  9. Good knowledge of UA tools and processes.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Any graduation/MBA with 60% aggregate across
  • 4-7 years of overall software development

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • A good to excellent university degree in technical writing, translation, English or business administration.
  • Should possess an excellent oral and written knowledge of English with Outstanding Vocabulary.
  • Proven Experience in technical writing.
  • Proven experience in documentation tools and documentation standards as well as MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience working on XML authoring or DITA
  • Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members and to participate in knowledge transfer.
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice.
  • The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality.
  • Experience creating social media and multimedia assets (for example blogs, how-to videos, or e-learnings) will be an added Advantage.
