A Digital Solution Advisor is at the cutting edge of customer engagement, innovating the way of Digital Selling in sales cycles on top of traditional customer engagement model. He/she possesses advanced/expert level knowledge of SAP and partner software solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy. Senior Digital Solution Advisors also take on the role of a Solution Captain, managing complex customer engagements and collaborating with partners.

You'll be a knowledge guru, guiding clients with tailored proposals and helping them see all the possibilities. Key Responsibilities and Tasks

A Digital Solution Advisor is at the forefront of engaging with customers as they evaluate technology to support their business needs. In this role, a Digital Solution actively participates in progressing deals with our sales and partners, supports demand generation activities and enable other colleagues on our solution areas.

 

Deal Support
The primary responsibility of a Digital Solution Advisor is in sculpting and delivering unparalleled sales presentations on SAP and partner software solutions, tailored especially for discerning audiences, including top-tier company executives. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences.

Through their collaboration with other SAP & partner teams, they will deeply attune to our customers' perspectives, adeptly intertwining their challenges with our state-of-the-art solutions to form a captivating narrative. A cornerstone of their responsibility will be the curation and upkeep of a sophisticated asset library, optimizing for volume and efficiency in our no-touch/low-touch transaction methods. 

As a seasoned specialist, they won't just prepare presentations; they will spearhead in-depth discovery sessions with potential clients, laying the foundation for robust, lasting relationships. Their extensive knowledge of SAP solutions and industry nuances will solidify their credibility, enriched by compelling customer success tales. Moreover, they will exhibit an expert ability in devising customer roadmaps, ushering them from their existing IT landscapes to innovative Cloud realms. Their contribution will extend to enhancing RFx completions, ensuring our proposals exude expertise. Embracing the digital age, they will employ a variety of modern tools like AI-led video creation, AI-powered demo customisation, GPT & similar tools amongst others, ensuring their engagements are as impactful remotely as they are in-person. Their involvement extends post-sale, overseeing smooth transitions, and they will be the maestro behind the powerful narratives for high-profile events and presentations.

Senior Digital Solution Advisors are also expected to take on the role of a Solution Captain managing complex customer engagements and Partners.

 

Demand Generation
A Digital Solution Advisor plays a pivotal role in demand generation. Their expertise is not just in knowledge but in application – leading webinars/seminars and aligning with Marketing and Sales Development Executive (SDE), ensuring we're always a step ahead in our outreach. 

They are not just crafting content; they are moulding our demand generation narrative, ensuring every campaign, every content piece underscores our unique selling propositions and addresses the core challenges of our target market.

Senior Digital Solution Advisors bring their deep understanding to advise in account & territory planning, positioning themselves as an expert in SAP's solutions/LoB portfolio. Beyond this, their collaboration with Marketing, SDE and the rest of Digital Hub teams becomes key in driving SAP’s strategic direction.

 

Digital Content for customer facing Situations
Their mastery over SAP offerings allows you to not only curate but also innovate digital content for customer-facing situations. By aligning content with advanced solution insights and market trends, they will ensure that our digital materials are both compelling and strategically positioned to address complex customer scenarios. 

Senior Digital Solution Advisors lead from the front in creating effective digital content and enable how-to-use for related parties in the context of the markets they engage in and drive high degree of reusability.

 

Requirements of the role
•    Demonstrable knowledge of SAP S/4HANA – either in Finance (FICO) or Manufacturing/Production Planning & EAM or Supply Chain (warehousing, transportation or supply chain planning).
•    Minimum 7 years’ experience in customer facing roles is essential – either implementation/technology consulting or presales/sales engineering roles.
•    Demonstrable track record of successfully navigating complex digital solution presentations, adeptly handling technical challenges, and building collaborative bridges between sales, digital and SAP partners.
•    Understanding of sales processes is required. 
•    Leadership skill (Solution or Project proposal, Project team, Internal Initiative etc) is added advantage (required for Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist)
•    Experience in driving digital transformation in presales, advocating for the adoption of innovative digital tools, and steering teams through intricate digital sales cycles is imperative
•    Confident with topics like Cloud in the B2B environment, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud-based commerce/ business networks
•    Knowledge and experience with competitive ERP solutions is an added advantage.
•    Conversational fluency in English mandatory.
•    Native Asian language skills required (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese). Additional language fluency is a bonus.
•    Experience in working with customers across different countries is highly desirable.
