Indeed, our team which is the Industries Go-to-Market team, is looking for several interns to help develop better go-to-market strategies by industry.

We are a global team in our Marketing & Solutions Board area, which is dedicated to developing and promoting SAP’s value proposition in 25 different industries: based on the deep understanding of our customers’ needs in every industry, we define SAP industry strategies, manage SAP solutions roadmap per industry, and equip Sales, Presales, Post-sales employees with the best content to make them relevant for customers and therefore ensure they succeed in developing our business.


The different internships available cover different needs: being the liaison between the eEurope (Northern Europe, Southern European countries – Eastern countries excluded) and our global team, helping a specific group of Industry Business Units (Consumer Industries, Public Services, Manufacturing Industries, Services Industries…) to develop the best Go-To-market strategy, or addressing strategic GTM topics like Industry Cloud, Business Networks and Sustainability, across industries.

What you’ll do:


Position title: SAP iXP Intern – Sales and marketing for GTM Team
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Duration of the internship: 6 months with possibility of extension up to 1 year
Working hours: preferably full-time 40h/week, possible also part-time with min. 25h/week


In this role, you’ll:


•    Support the definition of GTM for strategic priorities, including areas like sustainability, business innovation
•    Support the definition of GTM strategies in the different Lines of Business (HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Supplier Relationship etc.) Collaborate between multiple stakeholders across Regions and Countries in a big company like SAP
•    Orchestrate the production & monitoring of Industry Sales Plays execution, gathering ongoing feedbacks
•    Support the analysis of industry trends and competition, with our market intelligence team
•    Collaborate with Industry Marketing and Partner Ecosystem team

•    Learn about GTM strategy, what is a Sales Play
•    Learn how to influence, project management across multiple teams in Regions and different countries
•    Learn how to structure an Industry Value Proposition
•    Learn how to generate demand to address customer pain points in a given Industry
•    Learn what are the key challenges that IT can help solve in the various industries


Who you are:


We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

•    Master or Bachelor current student in related fields: sales, marketing, business administration
•    Fluent English is a must, other languages such as Spanish, French, Italian are advantage
•    Soft skills: analytical skills, innovative thinker, problem solving mindset, multi-cultural mindset
•    Computer skills: Microsoft Office advanced skills, Social Media and high presentation skills in PowerPoint 
•    Other desired skills: Digital Design skills, Project Management
