About the Role

As a Development Architecture in the SAP Digital Workplace Development team, you will be on one of the teams that develop the Digital Workplace, delivered by SAP as an out-of-the-box and yet extensible solution and be ready to master the integration challenge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand company strategy and business, design, implement and continuously improve complex backend system to support complex business scenarios, with high security, performance, scalability and testability.
  • Lead best practice for clean and effective code, improve team technical level.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of OOP concepts, not only architecture but also coding skills.
  • Enterprise database tuning experience.
  • Experience to refactoring complex system and convert to micro-service architect.
  • Rich experience in Agile/Scrum, BDD, TDD, software refactoring and other engineering best practices.
  • Strong analytics skill and logical thinking.
  • Strong leadership for people and technical.
  • Skills to clean and refactor complex code.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills and be fluent in English.
  • Relevant domain knowledge in Enterprise Social Collaboration platform is a plus.
  • Experience with Ruby-on-Rails is a plus.
