GC Account Executive:
We are looking for a candidate based in China to work at SAP's China office. Depending on the candidate's location, we have offices in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Shanghai. The ideal candidate must be a local who speaks native Mandarin and professional English. We seek someone with extensive experience in exporter markets and knowledge of marketing automation. I recommend considering competitors such as Infobip China, Expertsender China, Adobe, Oracle and WebPower China.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior New Business Sales Manager to lead our expansion efforts in the China exporter market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, strong relationships with key stakeholders, and a proven track record in driving new business growth. This role requires a proactive approach, focusing on self-prospecting to identify and secure new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Identify and implement strategies to penetrate the China markets effectively. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base. Collaborate with marketing to create tailored promotional campaigns for the region.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in delivering value to customers and addressing challenges.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and establish new business contacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, focusing on new business development in the China exporter market / SEA.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and business practices in China and Taiwan.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English; additional languages are a plus.
