(Associate) Data Lake DevOps Engineer

You are a service-orientated problem solver who likes to play on a team and dig into the details? You are not afraid to learn something new? – Then we, the team of the Monitoring Data Lake, want your support as an (Specialist) DevOps Engineer.
Our major tool stack is an Elastic based solution, fully containerized, deployed with a fingertip and follows the infrastructure as code principle. We run it at multiple clouds around the globe.
You will work across the whole stack: from Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash all the way down to OS-Levels, Package Management with Helm and OpenStack as interface to the clouds.
In this role, you will be our front line of support to our customers and ensuring 24/7 availability of our stack in an on-call rotation. Besides the support, there will be tasks and opportunities to add automation and extend monitoring to the stack. You will collaborate with your colleagues to achieve a common goal.

Role Requirements

  • Good understanding of Linux, Network, REST-APIs and Containers
  • Familiarity with the infrastructure of code approach and config management
  • Coding skills in at least one general purpose programming language
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Willing to work differing work shifts/rotations and non-standard work hours
