Team Overview
The role of the Global Digital Demand, Commerce and Ecosystem (GDCE) organization is to develop end-to-end marketing programs that deliver demand to the business. The Content and Project Services team is responsible for driving the end-to-end content operating model, ensuring efficiency of the integrated demand teams by leading them through common processes while driving continuous improvements and providing functional expertise for critical projects that span multiple organizations.
The role:
As the Strategic Project and Transformation Lead, you will have the opportunity to drive immediate impact by managing high-visibility, cross organizational initiatives as well as shape the future by identifying and driving transformation topics across teams. You will report directly to the Head of Content and Project Services and will have the opportunity to work with leaders from across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive strategic initiatives across the GDCE and broader SAP teams, providing a clear, repeatable structure to manage executive level, complex projects and drive change.
- Manage overall project milestones with cross-functional assigned teams, introduce mitigation tactics to minimize risks, and provide executive updates
- Develop internal storytelling / communication strategy in support of strategic initiatives to help drive visibility, engagement and change management across teams
- Understand and advise on industry best practices (from operations to innovations) across the functional areas of the Content and Project Services organization
- Help identify, define and implement game changing / transformational initiatives based on the emerging needs of the marketing organization, collecting input from key stakeholders while balancing external best practices and approaches
Experience & Key skills
- Minimum 15 years of B2B or B2C digital, high-tech marketing experience
- Broad and deep content expertise (from strategy to operations to production)
- Management consulting background a plus
- Ability to create a vision/strategy as well as define the path to implementation
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, high-visibility projects
- Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bring projects to successful completion
- Exceptional influencing and cross-functional management skills with the highest levels of effectiveness in matrixed, complex organizations
- Proven ability to collaborate broadly with a flexible, positive attitude
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Masters a plus
