We build  –  Signavio Process Intelligence - Process Data Management
SAP Signavio Process Intelligence as one part of the Signavio Product Suite is a collaborative process mining solution that helps organizations to unleash the power in their process and experience data. From data acquisition and management to detailed process insights, the solution helps you achieve improvements across departments, system landscapes, and data sources. Esp. in our team, we are working on the data transformation and data modelling.

We´ll have a PowerTrio of a Product Owner, Product Designer and Tech Lead in place to guide and mentor the team from the functional perspective. To evolve in our agile way of working we are supported by an agile Coach and on top there is support and coaching offered by the People Lead for your individual development.

Position Overview
As a Backend Engineer in our Process Intelligence team, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Product Designer and Tech Lead to shape the design and implementation of our core product. Your contribution will span across the whole development lifecycle, from refining user stories, participating in Scrum ceremonies, writing, and reviewing code, deployment, and maintaining our SaaS offerings. 
 
What you will do:

• Contribute to the entire cycle of product development, from first ideas and brainstorming sessions to continuously delivering improvements based on customer data
• Work on existing[SM3] [SJ4]  applications as well as the inception of new microservices
• Collaborate and work on solving challenging technical and business problems
• Follow Agile principles and values
• Leverage DevOps practices and tools, support by taking On-Call duties 
• Learn and grow with the team on agile ceremonies, open feedback- and team culture
• Receive mentorship to grow technically and professionally

Would be great if you have:

• Experience with Java or Kotlin
• Experience building secure web applications, ideally with Spring, DropWizard, JEE
• Experience in some of the frameworks: Hibernate, Apache Tomcat, (Resteasy), SpringBoot, DropWizard
• First experience with SQL databases, with experience in database-related optimizations and data processing is a big plus
• Testing Libraries such as: JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, PowerMock
• Testing, analysis and debugging of log files
• Curiosity about DevOps technologies such as AWS or MS Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins and Circle CI
