What you’ll do 


The BTP Security Engineering unit provides security tools and services for all cloud applications and platform services across SAP to strengthen SAPs and our customers' deliveries. 

 

We own cross-concerns like cryptography, data encryption libs, public key infrastructure, certificate services, Zero Trust identity service, key management services, security api, geo and advanced policy management services, tokenization services and many more. 

 

You will be part of a research team that will build on top of the learnings of our existing key management services and start a new, cloud native era. You will build the KMS 2.0 service from scratch, following cloud native mindset, running on top of Kubernetes (managed by SAP Gardener) on top of SAP Cloud. 
 
What you bring

 

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar
  • Good development skills e.g., Golang (preferred), Node.js, or willingness to learn Golang 
  • Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes and container technology 
  • Experience working in agile software development processes (Scrum) as well as working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 
  • Fluency in English language skills, both written and verbal 
  • Positive mindset, team player, humble, transparent, and highly adaptable 
  • Curiosity and track record for quickly learning new technologies, concepts, and tools
