Position overview:
Signavio by SAP is looking for an Agile Facilitator to guide our delivery teams to continuously improve their delivery practices, ensuring the teams apply agile principles appropriately and that the required ceremonies are facilitated effectively. Join a dynamic team of designers, product experts, and committed engineers who frequently pursue fresh innovations with the most user-friendly and modern cloud experience. This role is open for Berlin, Walldorf and/or St. Leon Rot.

 What you will do:

  • Facilitate teams’ development towards agile fluency and self-organization via enabling them to define their best way of working, following Scrum, Kanban or other Agile frameworks
  • Support the Product Owner with refining product backlog and work closely with them to manage priorities based on value
  • Increase teams’ predictability on commitments and delivery efforts
  • Coach the team members on focus and collaborative culture, with emphasis on process orientation, prioritization and goal-setting
  • Gather data to derive actionable insights and define engineering metrics for transparency with the teams
  • Closely collaborate and regularly align with the People Lead on team health, dynamics, and impediments

 

Key Skills you will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile Principles
  • Knowledge of multiple Agile frameworks (including scaling frameworks)
  • Experience with Agile Transformation

 

Would be great if you have:

  • Experience in applying agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), ideally in diverse teams and/or agile transformations
  • Ability to engage, motivate and influence teams on agile mindset and principles
  • Facilitation and very good communication skills
  • Ability to coach on the creation of user stories and managing the product backlog
  • Mentoring and coaching skills, both individual as well as team level
  • The ability to feed upwards comfortably
  • Stakeholder management (Tech Lead, People Lead and Product Owner, as well as Principal)
  • Knowledge of release cycle within an agile environment
  • Data-driven approach to decision making
  • Empathy and interest in mediation to understand the teams’ challenges
