About the team:
The Technology & Innovation (T&I) board area manages SAP´s overall platform, technology and innovation strategy. T&I drives the incubation of new ventures (SAP.iO), the development of innovative solutions, and the engineering of intelligent technologies (ML, AI, IoT, etc.) to build a fully integrated, extensible foundation for all SAP applications – the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).  

The T&I Strategy and Operations team within the T&I board area orchestrates and guides the execution of SAP T&I´s global strategy with the local Berlin & Potsdam division in conjunction with SAP Labs Berlin, focusing on strengthening SAP´s position as an innovation driver and thought leader in the vast ecosystem of Berlin through various strategic and customer-centric projects and driving local employee engagement. 

The T&I Berlin Operations and Business Insights team is responsible for all operational, analytical, and project management tasks of the T&I Strategy and Operations Berlin & Potsdam division and SAP Labs Berlin. The team also functions as cross-departmental and cross-board support to enable internal and external collaboration-projects and establish business processes by turning creative thinking into innovative solutions pursuing an end-to-end responsibility approach for all projects in record time.

What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP T&I Strategy and Operations iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Project Associate – Change Management & Change Communication 
Work Area: Communication
Location: Berlin (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: July 1st, 2022


In this role, you’ll:
support the project manager in planning, implementing, and managing strategic projects. You will contribute by structuring complex tasks using project management best practices, thereby ensuring smooth collaboration of various stakeholders. In addition, you are a passionate advocate of proactive communication, and you apply your excellent organizational skills to convince our top management.
During your internship, you will:

  • Support the leading project manager in structuring, planning, and controlling project deliverables, like preparing and hosting workshops, creating templates, scheduling appointments, interacting with other work streams and employees, drafting internal employee communication etc.
  • Actively support the Change Management and Communication Workstream in all areas
  • Enable information sharing between different workstreams and maintain different communication channels (MS Teams, SharePoint)
  • Create/prepare/edit PowerPoint presentations
  • Draft communication material such as layout concepts for e-mail invitations, information graphics, and charts
  • Work effectively on multiple tasks at the same time while meeting overlapping deadlines 
  • Other duties/projects and administrative support as assigned 


Who you are:

  • You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
  • Preferred fields of study: Business, Project-/ and Process Management, Communications, Event-/Marketing, Digital Business Management, or related fields
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English both spoken and written is mandatory
  • Have the ability to break-down complex problems and confidently manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • You have a strong interest in change management processes as well as an understanding of its impact on people 
  • Communication experience (internal employee communications via mail) as a plus 
  • Internship period: 6 months, full time availability starting May 1stComputer Skills: Excellent Word and PowerPoint skills a must. Outlook, SharePoint, and MS Teams experience a plus
  • Ability to work in team environment, interact and influence others and welcome feedback and suggestions
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
