What you`ll do 
As an enthusiastic hands-on Technical Product Owner, looking to work in a dynamic environment and team, you will be responsible for Cross-Project Management, Development and Quality Plans and Processes, KPIs, Release/Rollout Planning tasks, Compliance, and contribute to: Business Operations, Cloud Capacity Planning, Cloud Partnerships, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

• In partnership with technical leadership: lead, own, create and maintain high quality product roadmap and backlog in Jira with well-defined user stories, priorities and acceptance criteria; own other product-related topics such as documentation, hand-off to Operations, risk-mitigation, etc.
• Understand the needs and finances of the SAP Cloud business, especially HANA Cloud
• Maintain / Create partnerships with the consumers of the technology; secure buy-in, and deliver the business results 
• Ensure that our products are exceptionally reliable, scalable, and secure
• Define and track KPIs to ensure business value delivery and quality of service
• “Sell” to additional Lines of Business in SAP and create implementation plans with them
• Challenge the status quo while collaborating closely with the Cloud TCO team
• On-call manager duties, and maintenance weekends

What you bring 

• B.Sc / B.Eng in Comp.Sci. / Electronics / Ind.Eng
• 8 yrs in software/hardware / cloud, 3 yrs in Product Management or tech. Product Owner 
• Software engineering for cloud and infrastructure (build / deploy / test) with Infrastructure/low-level-programming products; APIs, CLIs, and SDKs for Cloud 
• Agile methodologies at enterprise scale with distributed teams, Creating / maintaining / sunsetting features for customers with competing needs
• Security for infrastructure and cloud products; SRE aspects of product engineering
• Converting ambiguity into alignment, details, and action – working with complex stakeholder networks
• Highly analytical and structured; excellent and self-sufficient Excel and Power Point skills
• Excellent communications skills, to technical and non-technical audiences; Fluent in English, written and verbal.  

Meet your team 
SAP’s Cloud Virtualization Group develops the vSMP MemoryONE hypervisor which enables the transparent use of Non-volatile Memory as main system memory, enabling lower TCO for HANA Cloud and other SAP workloads, increasing the margin for SAP’s Cloud business. Majority of the team is in Israel.
