The Identity and User Management Program is driving the adoption and further enhancement of SAP Universal ID towards becoming the single, central identity provider at SAP, providing a superior user experience while ensuring security compliancy. The CCS Team continuously enhances functionality and infrastructure corresponding to the evolving business and technical requirements towards central communication services in close collaboration with other teams. The team operates in an agile setup with well-defined scrum events and artifacts.


As a Working Student you will be working in a fast-paced technical environment and contributing to the feature development and enhancement of the SAP Universal ID, the future of identity management at SAP. 
Your role will have the following tasks:

  • Contribute to design, development and testing of business requirements
  • Attend the scrum events and contribute to the scrum artifacts
  • Improve/extend the documentation of the current status of features, processes and systems
  • Collaborate with other team members and with teams across SAP




  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics
  • Software Development skills, particularly familiarity with some of the following:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data
  • JUnit
  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • pytest
  • pymongo
  • MongoDB
  • ElasticSearch
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
  • Good team player in multinational Scrum team
  • Continuous integration tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins
  • Knowledge about distributed systems
  • Experience with microservice architectures
  • Web concepts (authentication/authorization)
  • Knowledge of Git and JIRA
  • Ability to adopt new technology quickly
  • Language skills: English
