Working Student (f/m/d) - for SAP HANA & Analytics Common Service Infrastructure

What you'll do

 

  • As a working student in one of our Cloud service teams - a diverse team doing agile software development on a global scale - you will work closely with your teammates in the development process.
  • You will support the colleagues in automating service and infrastructure updates to apply and deploy frequent changes in Kubernetes and hosting infrastructure in a validated and secure fashion. Your work will have direct impact on our customers’ experience by minimizing service unavailability.
  • You will gain experience in developing high quality software using state-of-the-art technologies in an international working environment. As a student your working hours will be flexible with a maximum of 20 hours each week during the semester based on hourly wage, and up to 40 hours during the semester break.

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in the area of computer science or similar
  • Initial experience with two or more of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Git, Jenkins
  • Initial experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Golang, Groovy
  • Very good language skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Team player, can-do attitude, self-motivated

The Common Service Infrastructure team is responsible for a set of integrated data platform and infrastructure services, which are the foundation of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence Embedded.
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud providers. We enjoy pushing beyond the limits of what’s currently possible, which also requires close collaboration with our cloud technology partners.
