What you'll do

 

We’re excited to welcome a new intern to our Local Accounting and Reporting Support Team (LAR Support), part of SAP’s Local Statutory Reporting (LSR) within the larger Local Accounting and Reporting (LAR) organization. 
In this role, you’ll support the preparation of statutory financial statements for SAP subsidiaries worldwide, assist with audit-related tasks, and contribute to automation projects.

Your Impact

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Contribute to the preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
  • Audit Assistance: Help with administrative duties tied to independent audits.
  • Chart of Accounts Management: Support the upkeep of the local chart of accounts.
  • Automation & Innovation: Participate in automation initiatives to enhance our reporting processes.
  • Project Support: Assist the Heads of Local Statutory Reporting and Local Accounting and Reporting on various projects.


What you bring

 

  • Current Student: Studying finance, accounting, tax, business administration, or a related field with strong academic performance.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Background or coursework in financial accounting, IFRS, or GAAP.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Languages: Fluent English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
  • Team Player: Great communication skills, motivated, and enjoys working in a collaborative, international team.
  • Global Perspective: Ability to work in virtual, multicultural teams and a strong interest in finance projects.
