Role description
Drive the S/4HANA adoption in Latin America through any of the 3 paths to embrace its adoption while addressing customer requirements from the technical point of view.
As SAP Consultant will have to support current and upcoming SAP projects as well as key customers on their implementations of innovation products mainly in S/4HANA.
Build technical competencies to deliver S/4HANA Solutions to Customers
Cloud Mindset with infrastructure as a service or hyperscaler competencies.
Technical skills
Technically fluent in Operating System (Unix/Windows/Linux), Database (Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/MaxDB) administration
SAP HANA in-Memory Platform
SAP HANA scale-out and standalone deployment, administration and optimization experience and knowledge
Knowledge/Experience in performance tuning, User Management, System copies, Unicode Conversions
Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or GCP) or infrastructure as a service experience
SAP Basis Netweaver and Security Authentication – Strong Knowledge and Hands on experience on Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions
Ability to troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems
Ability to work on activities involved in plan areas (Sizing, Scoping, Client/Landscape Strategy, HANA High Availability/HANA Disaster Recovery Strategy etc.) of Implementation projects without much supervision at transaction level
Knowledge in the different S/4HANA transition scenarios and limitations while deploying on cloud and on premise
Stays abreast with newest S/4HANA innovations driving the Digital Transformation; uses this knowledge to drive the SAP innovation story on Intelligent Enterprise with customer engagements
Technical S/4HANA System Conversion Planning & Execution
Knowledge in Design Thinking, Digital Strategy, Digital Transformation, S/4HANA Strategy, Intelligent Enterprise
S/4HANA Strategy Creation & Roadmap knowledge
Technical Knowledge of SAP Model Company
Readiness Check Interpretation
Knowledge of S/4HANA Simplification list
Knowledge in Fiori Apps & Fiori App Library use
Knowledge in SAP Activate
Experience in SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus
Knowledge in SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP BPC is a plus
Knowledge in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 Solution Documentation is a plus
SAP HANA Data provisioning technology including SAP LT, Data Services, DXC, Sybase replication server are a plus
Experience in Near Zero Downtime is a plus
