SAP Finance and Spend Management (F&SM) is SAP Line of Business (LoB) with global leader solutions to cover Procurement and Finance processes such as Source to Pay, Service Procurement, Contigent Workforce, Financial Operations, Planning and Accounting.

With Procurement solutions like SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass, SAP Spend Management enables companies better managing spends, reduce costs, mitigate risks, ensure operational resilience, achieve sustainability targets, and increase revenue - all through a cloud-based solution powered by emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI).

What you'll do:

As the Fieldglass Solution Advisor (SA), you will be the go-to person for any solution or product questions within the sales team. You will leverage your deep expertise in Fieldglass specific SAP Spend Management solutions to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to post-sale customer support.

The ideal candidate for this role will utilize a consultative approach to learn client requirements and map them to the SAP Fieldglass application capabilities. This role is for someone who is a problem solver, self-motivated with a strong work ethic, results driven, detail oriented, and can influence. Responsibilities include:

· Provide deep solution-specific expertise to support new sales and adoption for key customers

· Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.

· Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation.

· In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs. In addition, plan and conduct dry runs with the sales to align and rehearsal the planed customer presentations

· Has knowledge of appropriate industries and can provide industry specific solutions insights and perspective to our customers. Stays current on solution and industry updates in their domain leveraging SAP learning maps etc. Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions.

· Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals.

· Ability to effectively present to customers “remotely” using virtual technologies

· Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.

· Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events to identify and qualify new opportunities and drive adoption and consumption of SAP solutions

· Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine further investment in pursuing opportunities

· Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team and fine-tune account strategy

· Collaborate with the team in creating overall themes and competitive differentiation

· Conduct vigorous dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements

· Transition engagement to implementation partner/ Services teams effectively

· Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions and ensure eagerness for renewal

· Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement, including demos, presentations, and other content

What you bring:

· Professional experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a Procurement or Contract Management segment

· While not a requirement, ideal candidates will have a background in either a procurement & sourcing functional space. Candidates with experience in either industry as well as experience using software platforms in one of these industries is a plus

· Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and Software as a Service/Platform as a Service models in the Business-to-Business Environment

· Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, tenders & proposals

· Possess a strong collaborative work ethic that can easily adapt to different client cultures as well as the SAP Fieldglass culture

· Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, quickly adapt to changes, willing to work on tasks due in short time frames, and maintain a high level of work performance & service excellence.

· Display high levels of energy and drive, and thrive under pressure

· Possess a strong business acumen for financial process as well as process change

· Must be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative & adaptive approaches, and establish credibility quickly with customers

· Must be able to travel 30-40% of the time
