Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Sales Ops Business Enablement Expert at our Boston, MA location to deliver end-to-end operations services in a scalable manner to support, enable, and accelerate the achievement of business priorities with a particular focus on revenue and profitability.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Focuses on the successful creation, deployment, and execution of sales supporting processes, tools, and services, across all Customer Success (including License, Cloud, Services, and Education Sales) and in close alignment with related lines of business (including HR, Finance and Marketing). Delivery occurs in standard, scalable, and automated ways, while maintaining a direct privileged relationship with core customers (in the field or external). Understand business requirements and structures as they relate to the services provided. Proactively detect opportunities for connections and service improvements based on customer feedback, stakeholder engagement, and outside-in research. Establish credibility with direct customers (internal & external). Proactively anticipate their needs and identify efficient execution channels, demonstrating expertise or partnering for the highest impact. Manage relationships and expectations effectively. Engage with extended networks to benchmark customer experience and services. Leverage, establish, maintain or deploy the appropriate tools for scalable use, to optimize quality, or enhance delivery of the services. Integrate stakeholder feedback to accelerate adoption and optimize deliverables. Consider innovative enablement tactics (i.e. video, demos) and leverage existing channels to drive extended reach. Innovate and identify solutions through performance indicators. Share learnings, showcase successes, and secure buy-in by creating trust with a consistent message. Produce high quality assets and mentor junior peers.  Collaborate with Customer Success Operations, Shared Services and SAP to identify synergies and efficiencies. Execute project deliverables with focus and quality, leveraging extended teams to generate greater impact as appropriate. 

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 5 years in the following:

  • ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Project Methodology;
  • SAP Transformation Navigator;
  • SAP SuccessFactors Managed Learning;
  • SAP Model Company;
  • SAP Business Warehouse;
  • Supply Chain and Logistics Management;
  • Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
  • Cloud Mindset enablement;
  • Business Model Canvas; and
  • Information Security.

 

Travel: Up to 50% domestic and international travel required to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $200,699 - $272,680. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $200,699 - $320,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
