OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

The Customer Experience (CX) Marketing Manager will work closely with CX Sales Leadership to create and accelerate pipeline that achieves revenue targets for the CX portfolio of solutions. This includes acting as ‘the CMO’ of a specific sales region and providing insights into the health of the marketing funnel and making recommendations on marketing tactics that fill gaps. The CX Marketing Manager will also ensure that national CX campaigns are landing appropriately in a sales region while adding incremental activities such as virtual/in-person events and digital campaigns.

The candidate should be experienced with end-to-end campaign architecture and execution including virtual and physical events, and field sales stakeholder relationships and enablement.

This role partners closely with Sales and dotted-line reports to the Head of NA CX Field Marketing. Candidate should have marketing experience, great executive communication skills and presence, and experience working with Sales stakeholders.

 

The candidate should be experienced with end-to-end marketing execution, event planning and execution including virtual and physical events, great executive communication skills and presence, and experience working with Sales stakeholders. This role partners closely with Sales.

 

  • Marketing Campaign Ownership: Virtually provide event support including audience acquisition, registration, strategic communications, source speakers, identify on-site support, signage, partner collaboration, on-site logistics (venues, booth, AV), on-site executive support, providing hospitality and experiences, thank-you e-mails and follow up, lead routing.

 

  • Third Party Events: Project manage and act as primary contact with third-party event vendors and show managers, manage sponsorship and event execution (pre-event and post-event deliverables), speaker nomination, content and coordination, coordinate lead follow-up and routing, manage contracting process.

 

  • Hosted SAP events and sponsorships: Orchestrate, plan and execute unique and creative experiences designed to wow our customers and prospects - both in-person and virtual events that ultimately drive or accelerate sales pipeline. Organize and execute all deliverables leading up to the event to post-event.

 

  • Executive & Sales Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and communicate on a regular basis with Marketing colleagues (e.g. Market Unit or Industry Marketing teams, Product Marketing, Sales / COE stakeholders, and SAP executives across the business.

 

  • Analytics & Insights: Utilize reporting to regularly understand and communicate the results of marketing initiatives and use insights to drive future decisions and plans as well as communicate results with sales.

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Field marketing experience preferred
  • Cloud software marketing experience preferred
  • Executive communication skills and presence and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage and communicate a performance-driven business
  • Creative thinking and innovative ideas
  • Ability to collaborate across large organizational matrix to accomplish specific objectives
  • Hands-on, hard-working, and motivated by a collaborative, fast-paced results driven environment
  • Master in managing multiple projects at one time with tight deadlines
  • Be capable of quickly learning the tools required for tracking and reporting
