PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Designed exclusively for small businesses, SAP Business One (B1) is the best-selling SAP ERP solution in terms of number of customers and aims to become the global market leader in small enterprise application market leveraging latest technologies such as in-memory computing, cloud, and mobile, to bring tremendous business value to partners and customers world-wide and help them run better than never before. SAP B1 Cloud has been released in the year of 2012 and give partners the ability to setup their own Cloud offerings potentially incl. further Add-Ons or other Cloud services

The mission of our team is to build cloud offering of SAP Business One based on B1 Cloud component using modern automation, deployment and monitoring tools. Solution that is easy to deploy and operate while retaining key cloud capabilities like availability, stability, resilience, high performance and low TCO.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Build tools and automation to optimize the day-to-day cloud operation, based on a deep understanding of product architecture, by leveraging tools and languages like Salt, Zabbix, Jenkins, Python, Java, HTML5
• Communicate and collaborate with global product management, support, cloud operations and QA team around the world to fulfill the requirements in time and quality
• Liaising with Cloud Operations & Field Teams to identify bugs and missing product functionality for future releases

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Key Requirement:

• Proficient in programming any OOP programming language like Java, C++
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash
• Experience with some RDBMS
• Basic understanding of networking

Language Skill:

• Fluent English (written & oral) and proactive communication skills.

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience with automation tools like Salt, Ansible, Puppet
• Microsoft admin experience
• Linux admin experience
• Experience with SAP HANA

• Experience with cloud product development and operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Open Stack)
• Familiar with Jira and GitHub
