In Brno branch you will be part of SAP Labs Network. Our developers are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces.

The way we work

It is all based on trust, not micromanaging. Our team members are organized within their scrum teams, working closely with product lead, developers, quality engineers and UX designers. We keep things open, agile and communicative. We value your thoughts and ideas and will give you the freedom to push and implement them!

What you'll do

• Developing new Fiori applications and refactoring or enhance existing applications based on ABAP, JavaScript, Core Data Services (CDS) modelling, OData and other relevant technologies.
• Working in a highly self-motivated and reliable manner and applying agile software development principles.
• Analysis and correction/improvement of any software issues including communication with customers (internal or/an external) throughout the support cycle.
• Step by step building broad and deep functional and business process knowledge in selected areas of the application.

We are looking for fresh graduates or people at the beginning of their careers to work as associate application developer in one of our scrum teams. You don’t have to be worried. We will provide you with full training and the support of an experienced colleagues helping you at the beginning of your career. We are looking for somebody with passion, drive, and willingness to learn.

Accompanied by experienced colleagues and managers, you will be able to enrich your gained knowledge and start your professional career as Associate Developer, allowing you to pick up substantial knowledge about SAP´s product and processes

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines.
• Good software development / programming skills in at least one common programming language.
• Good communication skills. You’ll need to share your ideas with your team mates also in English.
• Logical, analytical, process-oriented thinking. Effectiveness in problem-solving, results oriented, but focused on quality, pragmatic and hands-on person.
• Passion for fast paced environments, work challenges and an international set-up.
• Knowledge of tools like GitHub … would be useful, however not mandatory at the beginning.

During your first months, we offer you training courses geared to your individual knowledge and experience, a buddy program. Importantly, we don’t just expect you to learn from us – we want you to share your fresh insights and ideas actively with us as well.
