In Brno branch you will be part of SAP Labs Network. Our developers are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces.

The way we work

It is all based on trust, not micromanaging. Our team members are organized within their scrum teams, working closely with product lead, developers, quality engineers and UX designers. We keep things open, agile, and communicative. We value your thoughts and ideas and will give you the freedom to push and implement them!

What you'll do

We are looking for fresh graduates or people at the beginning of their careers to work as junior QA Engineer in one of our scrum teams. You don’t have to be worried. We will provide you with full training and the support of an experienced colleagues helping you at the beginning of your career. We are looking for somebody with passion, drive, and willingness to learn.

Accompanied by experienced colleagues and managers, you will be able to enrich your gained knowledge and start your professional career as Junior Quality Engineer, allowing you to pick up substantial knowledge about SAP´s product and processes. 

Your main task will be to support our quality assurance developers by creation of relevant tests and test data. You should be able to think wide about possible edge cases that could happen in accounting and business sphere in specific situations.

You'll be mainly responsible for preparation and administration of test environment in area of finance and controlling. Within these tasks you will get the opportunity to obtain knowledge about SAP S/4HANA and related technologies and business processes.

Developing software at SAP is more than just writing efficient code - it’s a team effort: starting at product definition and design, including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documenting the results. We follow agile software engineering methods and are always in close contact with our customers and stakeholders to acquire early feedback.

What you bring

We’re looking for motivated and talented applicants who want to embark on an exciting journey with us to create innovative, high quality core technology components with care and attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• Good software development / programming skills in at least one common programming language.
• Logical, analytical, process-oriented thinking. Effectiveness in problem-solving, results oriented, but focused on quality, pragmatic and hands-on person
• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and spoken
• Passion for fast paced environments, work challenges and an international set-up
• Having a logical approach to problem solving and ability to respond to detailed queries
• Ability to work independently, and eagerness to learn and explore new topics
