The team CIS Customer Engagement Solution Analytics (CIS CESA) is driving and co-working from an analytical perspective on some of the key elements of our overall SAP transformation.

Our responsibility covers important tools as Cloud Reporting, Hasso Plattner Award winners Usage Analyzer & Cloud Health Score, several KPI’s for adoption and commercial consumption and transformation projects for Cloud Operations & Infrastructure topics.

The Usage Insights & Data Acquisition team in CIS CESA orchestrates standardized measurement of product adoption metrics for all products and equips customer engagement roles with holistic adoption insights from license consumption (what is used vs. what was purchased) to functional usage (HOW does a customer use the products he is entitled to).

The purpose of this position is to drive and orchestrate the enablement process of usage measurement together with the development teams of the respective products. In this role you act as “interface” between business engagement and technical delivery.

Expectations & Tasks

We are looking for a technical-skilled business engineer with high level experience & skills in the following areas:

• Accompany the enablement of usage measurement with Product Owners / Development Teams of the respective products
  • Metering Requirements/Obligations
  • Taxonomy & Metrics
  • How to define Metering Objects
  • Support the metering Implementation (Pilots) on various technical channels
• Support on data quality & validation tasks
• Further enhance onboarding & enablement materials
• Setup & Host meetings & build strong relationship with POs & Dev teams

Technical Skills

• HANA Studio (Navigate & Analyze table content, create SQL Query)
• Understand Rest APIs (use of Postman, Json, Schema definitions…)
• Optional
  • SAP GUI, ABAP
  • BTP Knowledge (MaaS)
  • Cloud for Semantics (C4S)

Learning & Development Opportunities

Our team offers a wide range of qualifications and learning opportunities. While some of us are experts in SAP Analytics Cloud, HANA Modeling/SQL and also R, our team also offers a wide range of insights into the analytical world in SAP. Additionally, we help to build our own future with first PoC in SAP Datasphere.

As a highly motivated individual, our trainees (or vocational students) will be given the opportunity to work autonomously on larger projects and explore different fields of interest.
