What you will do

Our IT product team helps SAP win the right way by providing digital solutions and services to SAP’s internal business units accountable for keeping the company compliant, managing its risks, and orchestrating its internal auditing activities.

We are looking for a junior developer. As part of the product team, you will get engaged with one of the critical processes for the company Cloud and Services business KPI reporting, powered by our Cloud & Service Bookings own solution.

This enables Global Controlling Bookings CoE teams to accurately represent the company future revenue recognised over time, for both Cloud and Services subscription business models, part of SAP go-to-market strategy.

The following will be the key aspects of your responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of modules or features of a product. Works according to specifications and Roadmap;
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Work as part of an agile team to design, develop and deploy cloud-based software applications;
• Implement scalable and secure cloud architectures that meet performance and reliability requirements;
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices;
• Troubleshoot and debug cloud software applications as needed;
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies;
• Builds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP.

What you bring

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as ABAP or JavaScript;
• Experience with frameworks like ABAP RAP, UI5 or Fiori Elements is a plus;
• Experience with HANA based development is a plus;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API development;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial;
• Strong drive for continuous learning to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues;
• Showcasing programming skills and problem-solving abilities through personal or academic projects is highly valued;
• Fluency in English is a requirement for this role.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Software Development
