PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Digital Business Services drives software adoption ensuring customers implement and run what they buy whilst safeguarding maintenance and subscription. We offer comprehensive onsite and remote services for every aspect of customers' software implementation or upgrade and operations, including performance and functional improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer.

 

CoE JOB

In the role of (Associate) Support Engineer, you will work in the Center of Expertise (CoE), as part of Digital Business Services, with focus on S/4HANA and the Supply Chain Execution Platform (Transportation Management and Extended Warehouse Management). Within short time you will learn the SAP Solution secrets and gain a unique technical expertise.

CoE service delivery is more a consultant-like job and can be performed either remote or onsite with a duration of between 1-5 days up to 2-3 weeks. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in long term engagements at Max Attention customers. In 90% of the cases we travel to customers in the EMEA region but in some cases, we are invited to deliver services in other regions across the world, this includes for instance China, Taiwan, South-Korea, Malaysia, India, Russia, Canada, U.S.A., Mexico, Brazil, Oman, Saudi-Arabia and more.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Very good degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Technical Engineering or Business Administration with strong focus on IT
  • At least basic programming skills
  • English is a must as well as a European Union citizenship
  • You are willing to travel primarily within the EU but also worldwide for periods of time

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Analysis of complex logistic business processes and technologies such as the SAP HANA Database Platform.
  • Adaption of knowledge on new technologies in a consistently high dynamic changing environment.
  • Delivery of remote and onsite services for global customers with focus on system optimization, conceptual planning as well as empowering the customers with newest best practice knowledge.
  • Good communication skills to handle and explain complex customer situations

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Within an extensive training phase, you will receive personalized and group training for specific product, technology and development knowledge. You will also receive on-the-job training fitted for your future responsibilities.
  • Your personal mentor will help you to develop into your expert role by elaborating an individual development plan.
  • After all training activities you will start delivering customer project services in a team together with our senior experts.
  • Any practical experience in software development and SAP product knowledge is welcome but not mandatory. Any support experience and experience in managing customers would also be beneficial but is also not an elementary prerequisite. 
  • Optional, but good to have:
    • you have gained some professional work experience working with SAP products in the Supply Chain area
    • Good German language skills
