What you'll do
Do you love automate as much as possible, share your knowledge, and are a team player? — Then, the team of the Monitoring Data Ocean „OctoBus“ wants your support as Observability Engineer (f/m/d). Our stack is an Elastic (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) based solution including an Oten Telemetry based routing solution, fully containerized, deployed with a fingertip via Helm, and follows the infrastructure as code principle.
As a team member of the OctoBus team, you'll take over responsibilities around an internal globally distributed Data Ocean:
• Work as part of an open-minded virtual SCRUM team and drive topics from a DevOps perspective
• Automation focusses on pipeline based deployment of software components and infrastructure automation, including containerization, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, and adopting CI/CD based workflows
• Evolve the whole stack and drive innovation
What you bring
• Entry-level knowledge in Linux Operating System & Containers (preferred Docker)
• Knowledge of Elastic Stack Components or a similar modern Observability solution
• First experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Advanced English language skills oral, written, and analytical skills
• Big Plus: experience with Python and/or Golang
