What you’ll do

We’re looking for a motivated and talented Full stack developer who wants to join our great team on our journey to create the foundation of SAP Product Lifecycle Management Product Data / Specification Management in the cloud. You will work on a brand new BTP based product where you will have end to end responsibility of our solution plus where you also will have a direct touchpoint with our  SAP PLM customers.

As Full-stack Developer (f/m/d) you will contribute to our cloud native PLM capability by writing clean, high quality code ensuring security, performance and product standards. You contribute on the full stack of our solution including UI5 frontend, CAP Java backend and the tools around it. 

While coding will be your core task, developing software at SAP is much more than just that. It’s a team effort, including designing our products for the end user/customers, delivering our services efficiently and fast, in time and in quality. Your tasks will be:

• Work in a scrum team and apply agile software engineering methods during daily work
• Understand the business requirements and implement according to the guidance
• Focus on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of product features in a development team, including test automation and maintenance

• Continuously enhance your skills
  • Coding skills
  • Skills around coding: code readability, testability, error handling, performance, code structure
• Learn and ideate about opportunities provided by AI. Experiment with the available tools and participate in the realization.

What you bring

• BSc or MSc degree in IT, mathematics or engineering
• 3+ years of experience in professional software development, preferably within a scrum team 
• Enthusiastic, results-driven team player with the ability to work in dynamic environment
• Good English language skills written and oral
• Open minded person, ready to improve day by day
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript, experienced with Git/GitHub, Jenkins/Piper and OData
• Competencies in the following is an advantage: CAP, UI5, Fiori Elements, SAP BTP, SAP HANA
